Westfjords Seafood Saga is a co-operative cluster organisation set up by leading seafoods businesses in the Westfjords of Iceland. The cluster has been supported by the regional development agency, VaxVest, since it began in 2005.
Led by the principle of strength in numbers, members of the Westfjords Seafood Saga work together for the promotion and sustainable growth of the entire Westfjords fisheries and seafood industry.

Projects the cluster has worked on include analysis of electricity purchasing, research and recommendations on reducing transport costs, work on a region-wide trademark, and various other analysis and research into fisheries and fishing management.
