Vestfjardarstofa is the official private/public agency that is responsible for assisting the economic development in the Westfjords, Iceland.  The agency itself runs with the support from the local municipalities and the central government and has done so since 1997. The agency has a staff of eight professional workers that all are specialized within the field of economic development.
